August 2019, West Java's Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 7.99 percent

The total workforce in August 2019 was 23.80 million people, an increase of 1.17 million people compared to August 2018. This is in line with the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) which also increased by 2.15 percentage points from 62.92 percent in August 2018. In the last year, TPT fell to 7.99 percent in August 2019 from 8.17 in the previous year. Judging from the level of education, TPT for Vocational High Schools (SMK) still dominates among other levels of education, namely 14.53 percent.
