West Java's Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) is 9.82 percent

The number of workers in August 2021 was 24.74 million people, an increase of 0.53 million people compared to August 2020. In line with the increase in the number of workers, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased to 64.95 percent. The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2021 was 9.82 percent, down 0.64 percentage points compared to August 2020. The working population was 22.31 million people, an increase of 0.63 million people from August 2020. The largest increase in the contribution of employment to the working population occurred in Manufacturing Industry employment (0.81 percentage points). Meanwhile, the sector that experienced the largest decline in contribution was the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector (1.21 percentage points).
