West Java exports in July 2022 reached USD 3.30 billion, down 6.32 percent compared to June 2022

West Java's export value in July 2022 reached USD 3.30 billion or decreased by 6.32 percent compared to June 2022. However, compared to July 2021, it increased by 24.23 percent. Non-oil and gas exports in July 2022 reached USD 3.25 billion, a decrease of 6.93 percent compared to June 2022. However, oil and gas exports increased by 80.90 percent. Cumulatively, West Java's export value from January to July 2022 reached USD 22.53 billion or an increase of 20.29 percent compared to the same period in 2021. Likewise, non-oil and gas exports reached USD 22.32 billion or an increase of 19.73 percent. The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas exports in July 2022 compared to June 2022 occurred in the Footwear category (USD 32.21 million), followed by Machinery and Electrical Equipment (USD 26.38 million) and Paper/Cardboard (USD 22.83 million).
