West Java Exports in November 2020 Reached USD 2.39 Billion, Down 1.22 Percent compared to October 2020

West Java's export value in November 2020 reached USD 2.39 billion or decreased by 1.22 percent compared to October 2020. Meanwhile, compared to November 2019, it decreased by 0.14 percent. Non-oil and gas exports in November 2020 reached USD 2.38 billion, down 1.18 percent compared to October 2020. Meanwhile, oil and gas exports fell by 8.61 percent. Cumulatively, West Java's export value from January to November 2020 reached USD 23.92 billion or decreased by 13.66 percent compared to the same period in 2019, likewise non-oil and gas exports reached USD 23.74 billion or decreased by 13.64 percent. The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas exports from November 2020 to October 2020 occurred in the Knitted Goods category (USD 25.87 million), followed by Electrical Machinery and Equipment (USD 21.83 million) and Rubber and Rubber Goods (USD 11.30 million ). By sector, non-oil and gas exports from the processing industry as well as mining and other products in November 2020 fell by 0.24 percent and 30.35 percent respectively compared to the same month in 2019. Meanwhile, exports of agricultural products rose by 33.02 percent. The largest non-oil and gas exports in November 2020 were to the United States, namely USD 390.05 million, followed by Japan USD 240.79 million, and China USD 195.85 million with the contribution of the three reaching 34.71 percent. The value of West Java's foreign trade balance in November 2020 had a surplus of USD 1.57 billion, so the cumulative January-November 2020 surplus reached USD 16.17 billion.
