West Java's export value in May 2022 reached USD 2.68 billion or decreased by 22.23 percent compared to April 2022. However, compared to May 2021, it increased by 19.04 percent. The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas exports in May 2022 compared to April 2022 occurred in the Machinery and Mechanical Equipment category (USD 122.27 million), followed by Electrical Machinery and Equipment (USD 117.44 million) and Vehicles and Parts (USD 115.54 million). West Java's import value in May 2022 reached USD 1.25 billion or decreased by 4.44 percent compared to April 2022. However, compared to May 2021, it increased by 34.58 percent. The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas imports in May 2022 compared to April 2022 occurred in the Electrical Machinery and Equipment category (USD 16.23 million), followed by Plastics and Plastic Goods (USD 8.60 million), and the Furniture, Home Lighting category (USD 7, 34 million).
