West Java Economy Quarter III-2022 6.07 Percent (Y-on-Y), and 1.17 Percent (Q-to-Q)

West Java's economy in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the third quarter of 2021 experienced growth of 6.07 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Company Services Business Field experienced the highest growth of 29.80 percent. In terms of expenditure, Exports of Goods and Services played a significant role, growing by 10.66 percent. West Java's economy in the third quarter of 2022 experienced growth of 1.17 percent (q-to-q) compared to the previous quarter. In terms of production, the Education Services Business Field experienced the highest growth of 6.58 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth of 17.31 percent. West Java's economy based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices for the third quarter of 2022 reached IDR 616.18 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 400.35 trillion. The source of growth rate (source of growth, SOG) is (y-on-y) from the business field side, with the largest contribution being the processing industry business field at 2.93 percent. As for the expenditure side, the Household Consumption component with the largest contribution to GRDP expenditure contributes 2.81 percent.
