March 2024 West Java Province inflation (y-on-y) of 3.48 percent

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for West Java Province in March 2024 is 0.51 percent, while the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 1.12 percent Y-on-y inflation occurs due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.80 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.87 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.56 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.88 percent; health group at 3.06 percent; transportation group by 0.50 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 4.11 percent; education group at 1.39 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.66 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 5.34 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: information, communication and financial services by 0.27 percent.
