The Construction Cost Price Survey (SHKK) is a routine activity carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to monitor developments in the prices of building materials, labor wages and heavy construction equipment rentals in various regions in Indonesia. SHKK data is used to calculate the Construction Cost Index (IKK), which is an important indicator in planning and implementing construction projects. SHKK objectives: Monitor developments in building material prices, labor wages and heavy construction equipment rentals. Calculating IKK for various types of buildings in various regions in Indonesia. Providing accurate and up-to-date data to support construction project planning and implementation. Support the establishment of government policies related to the construction sector. SHKK Implementation Method: SHKK is carried out every three months, namely in January, April, July and October. SHKK data was collected through a survey of respondents consisting of building material providers, contractors and heavy construction equipment providers. The data collected includes the price of building materials, labor wages, and heavy construction equipment rental. SHKK data is processed and analyzed by BPS to produce IKK. SHKK Benefits: SHKK provides important information for planning and implementing construction projects, so that it can help optimize project costs. The IKK generated from SHKK is used as a basis for calculating the value of construction project contracts and preparing government budgets. SHKK data can also be used for economic analysis of the construction sector and to monitor inflation in the construction sector.
