TRAINING FOR MANUFACTURER PRICE SURVEY OFFICERS 2024

The Central Statistics Agency of the Sumedang Regency held a training in the 2024 Producer Price Survey Officer (SHP) on January 11-12, 2024 online and luring. The training was attended by 13 prospective officers consisting of 8 partners and 5 organic employees. This training aims to provide debriefing to officers related to concepts and definitions, as well as changes from the producer price survey before carrying out field data collection so that later the quality of the resulting data is well maintained.

Producer Price Survey is a survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 34 provinces in Indonesia to collect producer price data and calculate the Producer Price Index (IHP). Publication of the Producer Price Index presents a statistical indicator of the price survey results. This publication contains an explanation of the goals, concepts of definitions, methodologies, and brief reviews of the producer price index, as well as quarterly producer price inflation for a year ago.
