Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (IT) to the price index paid by farmers (IB).
NTP shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as production costs.
West Java NTP in September 2024 decreased by 0.01 percent compared to August 2024, from 111.99 to 111.98
The price index for agricultural products (IT) fell by 0.18 percent and the price index for goods and services consumed by farmers (IB) fell by 0.18 percent.
The West Java Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in September 2024 fell by -0.23 percent, while the Production Cost and Additional Capital Goods Index (BPPBM) rose by 0.05 percent.
The price of dry harvested grain at the farmer level rose 1.33 percent and the price of medium rice at the mill fell 1.08 percent.
September 2024, the average price of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) at the Farmer Level is IDR. 6 713 per kg or an increase of 1.33 percent compared to August 2024, the average price of GKP at the milling level is IDR. 6 928 per kg or an increase of 1.49 percent. For Milled Dry Grain (GKG) at the Farmer Level it fell by 0.88 percent, and at the Milling Level it fell by 0.70 percent.
The average price of premium quality rice at the mill is Rp. 13,181 per kg, up 0.31 percent compared to the previous month, the price of medium quality rice at the mill was Rp. 12 685 per kg or a decrease of 1.08 percent
