Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (IT) to the price index paid by farmers (IB).
NTP shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as production costs.
West Java's NTP in August 2024 increased by 0.96 percent compared to July 2024, from 110.92 to 111.99.
The price index for agricultural products (IT) rose by 0.90 percent and the price index for goods and services consumed by farmers (IB) fell by 0.06 percent.
The West Java Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in August 2024 rose by 0.84 percent, while the Production Cost and Additional Capital Goods Index (BPPBM) rose by 0.05 percent.
The price of harvested dry grain at farmer level rose 3.95 percent and price
Medium Rice in Milling rose 3.66 percent.
