Abstract

West Java exports in January 2019 reached USD 2.58 billion, up 9.01 percent compared to December 2018. Non-oil and gas exports in January 2019 reached USD 2.57 billion, up 9.70 percent compared to last month. Meanwhile, oil and gas exports fell by 49.90 percent, to USD 13.84 million. On a year-on-year basis, non-oil and gas exports rose 0.27 percent, total exports rose 0.25 percent. Oil and Gas exports (y-o-y) fell 4.37 percent from 2018. West Java's import value in January 2019 was USD 1.04 billion or an increase of 8.01 percent compared to December 2018. Non-oil and gas imports in January 2019 were USD 0.99 billion or an increase of 14.92 percent compared to December 2018. Oil and gas imports fell by almost half, around 48. 97 percent, from USD 104.56 million to USD 53.36 million (lowest compared to the same period during 2017-2019).
