Abstract

West Java's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based on current prices in the first quarter of 2019 reached IDR. 509.87 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices it reached Rp. 361.52 trillion. West Java's economy in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the first quarter of 2018 grew 5.43 percent (y-on-y), slowing down compared to the achievement in the first quarter of 2018 of 5.90 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Information and Communication Business Field at 9.56 percent. In terms of expenditure, this was achieved by the Goods and Services Export Component which grew by 8.47 percent.
