Development of Air, Sea and Railway Transportation Statistics for West Java Province November 2020

The total number of commercial air transport passenger departures from West Java in November 2020 was 24,400 people, an increase of 35.35 percent compared to October 2020 which was recorded at 18,027 people. The amount of cargo via West Java domestic flights including goods, baggage and post/packages in November 2020 reached 747.78 tons or an increase of 16.13 percent compared to October 2020. Cumulatively, the number of West Java domestic air transport passengers for the January–November 2020 period was 203.01 thousand people, a decrease of 77.71 percent compared to the same period last year which was 910.81 thousand people. Meanwhile, the cumulative load of goods, baggage and postal/packages carried by domestic flights was 3.03 thousand tons or decreased by 70.01 percent. In November 2020, the loading volume of domestic goods and containers from ports in West Java reached 159.75 thousand tons, a decrease of 18.65 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, international loading of goods and containers was 32.26 thousand tons, down 2.86 percent compared to October 2020. The number of train passengers departing in November 2020 was 754.15 thousand people or an increase of 8.69 percent compared to October 2020. During January–November 2020 the number of passengers reached 8.72 million people or a decrease of 30.89 percent compared to the same period last year. 2019. The volume of goods transported by trains in November 2020 was 60.82 thousand tons or a decrease of 16.94 percent compared to October 2020. Cumulative volume from January to November 2020, the volume of goods transported by trains was 653.25 thousand tons or an increase of 3.78 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
