Farmer Exchange Rate in West Java April 2021 was 97.35 or down 1.75 percent (2018=100)

NTP is a proxy indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed and production costs. West Java's NTP in April 2021 decreased by 1.75 percent compared to March 2021, from 99.08 to 97.35. The price index for agricultural products (IT) fell by 1.33 percent and the price index paid by farmers (IB) rose by 0.42 percent. The West Java Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2021 fell by 1.49, the price index for goods and services consumed by farmers rose by 0.56 percent, while the Production Cost and Additional Capital Goods (BPPBM) Index also rose by namely 0.16 percent.
