Abstract

In March 2021, the number of poor people (people with monthly per capita expenditure below the poverty line) in West Java increased to around 6.82 thousand people, from 4.19 million people (8.43 percent) in September 2020 to 4 .20 million people (8.40 percent) in March 2021. The West Java Poverty Line (GK) increased by 2.82 percent from IDR 415,682 per capita per month in September 2020 to IDR 427,402 per capita per month. The Gini Ratio value has increased, namely from 0.398 to 0.412. This increase in the Gini Ratio value was contributed by an increase in the Gini Ratio in urban areas. The Gini Ratio in urban areas rose to 0.423 from 0.409 in the previous period, while in rural areas it decreased from 0.326 to 0.321.
