In September 2021, the level of expenditure inequality among the West Java population as measured by the Gini Ratio was 0.406. This figure decreased by 0.006 points compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.412 and increased by 0.008 points compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2020 which was 0.398. The Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2021 was recorded at 0.417, down compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.423 and up compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2020 which was 0.409. The Gini Ratio in rural areas in September 2021 was recorded at 0.324, an increase compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2021 which was 0.321 and decreased compared to the Gini Ratio in September 2020 which was 0.326.
