Abstract

West Java's import value in January 2022 reached USD 1.24 billion or an increase of 10.30 percent compared to December 2021. Likewise, compared to January 2021, it increased by 34.71 percent Non-oil and gas imports in January 2022 reached USD 1.14 billion or an increase of 9.60 percent compared to December 2021. Likewise, compared to January 2021, it increased by 36.27 percent. Oil and gas imports in January 2022 reached USD 102.46 million or an increase of 18.87 percent compared to December 2021. Likewise, compared to January 2021, it increased by 19.51 percent. The largest increase in the value of non-oil and gas imports from January 2022 to December 2021 occurred in the Electrical Machinery and Equipment category (USD 36.20 million), followed by Mechanical Machinery and Equipment (USD 22.18 million), and the Cotton category (USD 12.96 million).
