In May 2022, the West Java Combined CPI which includes 7 cities, namely Bogor City, Sukabumi City, Bandung City, Cirebon City, Bekasi City, Depok City and Tasikmalaya City experienced an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 111.25 in April 2022 to 111 .63 in May 2022; Thus, inflation occurred at 0.34 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year "year to date" (January 2022 - May 2022) was 2.84 percent and the inflation rate from year to year "year on year" (May 2022 to May 2021) was recorded at 3.57 percent.
