Abstract

In August 2022, the West Java Combined CPI which includes 7 cities, namely Bogor City, Sukabumi City, Bandung City, Cirebon City, Bekasi City, Depok City and Tasikmalaya City experienced a decrease in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 112.97 in July 2022 to 112 .90 in August 2022; Thus there was deflation of 0.06 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year "year to date" (January 2022 - August 2022) was 4.01 percent and the inflation rate from year to year "year on year" (August 2022 to August 2021) was recorded at 4.73 percent.
