West Java Farmer Exchange Rate February 2023 is 106.70 or an increase of 1.66 percent (2018 = 100)

The West Java Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) in February 2023 increased by 1.66% compared to January 2023. The NTP figure reached 106.70, which shows that the exchange power of West Java farmers for goods and services consumed and production costs increased. This increase was caused by an increase in the price index received by farmers (ITP) by 2.11% to 112.38. Meanwhile, the price index paid by farmers (PPI) experienced a smaller increase, namely 0.45% to 115.91. This condition shows that West Java farmers are better able to purchase living necessities and production costs compared to the previous month. However, it should be noted that the NTP of 106.70 is still below the NTP value that is considered prosperous, namely 100. This means that West Java farmers are still not fully prosperous.
