Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (IT) to the price index paid by farmers (IB). NTP shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed and production costs. West Java NTP in March 2024 decreased by 0.83 percent compared to February 2024, from 117.43 to 116.45. The price index for agricultural products (IT) fell by 0.04 percent and the price index for goods and services consumed by farmers (IB) rose by 0.80 percent. The West Java Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2024 fell by 0.17 percent, while the Production Cost and Additional Capital Goods Index (BPPBM) rose by 0.13 percent.
