Even though village potential data has great potential, there are still several challenges in managing it, such as limited human and financial resources, inadequate information and communication technology infrastructure, and lack of coordination between stakeholders. “To overcome this challenge, joint efforts are needed from various parties, including government, villages and communities. The government needs to increase human and financial resource capacity, as well as develop information and communication technology infrastructure in villages. Villages need to strengthen coordination between stakeholders and increase community participation in data management." By optimally managing village potential data, it is hoped that villages in Indonesia can achieve independence and sustainability, thereby improving the welfare of village communities.
